Tips from NVP Cecilia Stoll
This business is about life
1) Act as if you own stock in Arbonne ( because you do!) use everything Arbonne has, personal consumption, gifts for everyone you know
2) Treat it like a $1,000,000 business business cards, business aids, inventory so your clients don’t have to wait, because they may not
3) Learn your products – especially when new products are introduced
4) Set aside specific time to work your business (it shouldn’t be #1, your family should be #1 – but it should be a priority) ex: plan 5 phone calls a day and do it, write the numbers down and call, if you have another job, treat Arbonne like a second job
5) Work the campaigns – let your hostess take advantage of $50 for $15
6) Set goals for your business
7) Get the word out about your business – fishbowls, samples to clients, client gifts for referrals, employee days, hospitals, silent hostess (give your hostess a few catalogs and tell her if she gets $150 in outside orders you’ll give her $50 of free product)
8) Make regular presentations – "If you buy & you book… then you get….." spend at least 10 hours each week talking to people – do paperwork before 8am and after 9pm Demos, Parties or Group Consultations Coach your hostess teach her to say, "You’re one of 8 guests I am inviting to my skin care class, I only have space for 8 people, so please do me a favor, if you can’t make it, please let me know so I can invite someone else"
Give your hostess catalogs before the class, "if you get $150 in outside sales, I’ll give you a gift"
Put a HELP WANTED sign on the table at your demonstration
Play the penny game – While the mask is drying tell the group "We’re going to play a little game – I have a cup of pennies here and the person with the most pennies at the end of the game wins. If you ask me a question about Arbonne products I’ll give you 1 penny; but I really want to talk about my business, so whoever asks me a question about my business, I’ll give you 2 pennies"
9) Focus on the present – don’t worry about your title, build your volume one day at a time 10) Don’t allow yourself any choice but to win
11) Be a professional – work regardless of how you feel
12) Find a reason – you need a big WHY
13) Do it for G-d. If this is in your path, it’s here for a reason!
Sponsoring – Cecilia
You can make really good money selling the product, but you can make a living sponsoring.
The Aces are out there – you just have to keep looking!!
Every time you stop the momentum in your business you have to start over – DON’T STOP THE MOMENTUM!
1) Sponsoring is an attitude a) picture yourself as someone who has a huge downline b) believe it can happen to you (don’t listen to others) c) If I asked you, "can you go out and sponsor someone by noon tomorrow?" What if I said I would give you and the person you sponsor $10,000 – could you sponsor them by noon tomorrow?" So, what’s the difference??? You’re attitude, and by the way, sponsoring someone by noon tomorrow may very well bring you $10,000 or more.
2) Believe in what you are doing Fake it til you make it. Ask yourself, how would I act if I was making $10,000 a month
3) Act as if you were an RVP from the beginning! Earn every campaign, let everyone see the signs of your success.
4) Prospect, Prospect, Prospect You have to get out of your house!! Work your business around your life. Say Arbonne first! To the mom "I stay home with my kids and I have a home based business"
5) Who do you want in your business???
a) people with a dream, who want more out of life b) people who are friendly, who like people c) no "whiners" dont sponsor complainers d) people who deserve this business, not need it e) people who are willing to take responsibility f) people who are concerned about their childrens future or their retirement
6) Once you find who you want: Cecilia sponsors in a very low key, long term approach. She drips, drips and drips! Be patient and tread slowly. Build relationships and youll build trust. To someone who you really want in your business, mention Arbonne briefly and then drop the subject, catch them off guard. Ex:"You would be great in my business oh by the way, are you going to the PTA meeting?" "Ive never had so much fun working Hows your new job?" "If you were in Arbonne, we would have so much fun working together ." 7) Match the business to the Prospect be a chameleon Dont tell the whole story, "If I can teach you how to build this business, so you could earn $200 - $500 a month, would you be interested in hearing a little more about it?"
Tell them stories that theyll relate to. A busy executive has different needs than a mother of 3. Listen to their needs.
8) What to do when they are not sure
a)"Lets do this lets get a few of your friends together, tell them youre thinking about doing Arbonne as a business youd like to invite them to come try the product that youre thinking of representing - to get their opinion. If you decide to do Arbonne, then the sales will be yours if not, Ill give you a discount on your products, and your friends will become my clients."
b)Coke" meetng (coffee or capucinno) Say to your potential prospect "My friend (Dont say manger or RVP, say friend) has been doing Atbonne for 5 years. Lets grab a coke with her so she can share with you how shes achieved success with Arbonne.
c)Fear is the biggest reason why people dont sign up they are thinking "What if this doesnt work?" Heres the best answer for that concern: "I know what you are thinking, youre thinking, what if this doesnt work for me? Well, if it doesnt work for you, than youll end up with an Arbonne ID# so you can get your Arbonne products at a discount. But I have a better question, what if it does work for you, what would change in your life if you had an extra $500 a month?"
9) Get out of your comfort zone Be a professional Say affirmations they work Know when to let go dont convince people to join youll have to convince them to stay If they complain, say "I can tell that youre so unhappy doing this business, I understand that its not for everybody. I want you to be happy. We can still be friends if you choose not to do Arbonne". Dont burn your bridges you never know when someone may decide to come back!
10) Bury the word "TRY". Just do it dont try. Would you like an anesthesiologist to say to you just before he/she puts you out before your surgery "Im gonna TRY to get you to wake up after the surgery, but, Im kind of tired and its been a rough day, Ill do the best I can ok? Would you say OK or find another Doctor?? Dont say TRY!!
11) Never give up!! Zig Ziglar gave 3.000 speeces before he ever got paid for one!
If someone says "I really like the product Im using, it works really well for me" The best way to answer them is to say, "Great, I really appreciate someone who is on a skin care regime as a matter of fact, you could do me a big favor since you like what you are using Would you try a sample of my product for 3 days and give me your opinion how does it compare to what youre currently using?"
Dont be impatient and dont compare yourself to others. This is a marathon no one finishes a marathon without moving their legs. How long youve been with Arbonne doesnt determine your success. Your activity determines your success.
Decide this year to stop making excuses! Everyday is a choice.
Sandra shared a great networking idea at the end of the training: This is what you can say at a networking group "I have 5 complimentary facial gift certificates to give today I cant give out more than 5 because Im so busy this month who would like one??"
