The Purpose of Sponsoring Creating a successful Arbonne business is really about two things: sharing our fabulous product and our equally fabulous income opportunity. We sponsor to build a team. Building a team creates on-going income. Some of the people you sponsor will share the products with other people and sponsor here and there. Other people you sponsor will go on to become leaders and build huge organizations because they have learned the skills and learned how to coach the consultants on their team.
Kim Klaver, Network Marketing Trainer says, “our mission is finding the right people in the mess of the wrong ones – How do we know when it’s the “right people”? That is one of the skills that we will help you learn as you begin to build your team and sponsor people into your business.
Who are the “right” people? We don’t always know. Our business is mathematical, not magical – this is a numbers game, so you must cast a wide net! The person who talks to 60 people a month, will have more success then the person who talks to 30 people a month and of course the person who talks to 30 people a month will have more success, then the person who speaks to 10 people a month!
Where to Find the RIGHT People Everywhere! You must keep your Arbonne antenna up at all times! Since we have already established that this IS a numbers game – let’s figure out where to find the people that we want to sponsor!
Go to your warm market first, the people who know you and love you and want to see you succeed! And remember that these people need to be educated about what you are doing! It’s as simple as asking – “Hi Mary… I’m so excited to tell you a little about the new business that I just started! Do you have some time to get together for a quick cup of coffee? I’m buying!” [Your enthusiasm will motivate your family and friends to hear about what you are doing!"]. You will find some other approaches in the document below:
You will also meet people at your presentations/workshops, “One-on One's” and through referrals [asking for referrals is another skill you will learn.] It is as simple as asking "who do you know .... that is looking for a way to earn some extra money ……. who is looking for something to do from home, ……who is looking for a new career? They should check out the anti-aging industry, it is booming.” You won't get referrals unless you ask, so be sure to ask everyone you know and meet, to give you. The concept of “It’s not who you know, it’s who THEY know” is a very powerful concept in our business!
You will also meet people when you are “out and about”. We call these “bump into’s". [REFER TO “YOUR 30 SECOND COMMERCIAL THAT YOU WENT OVER IN YOUR GETTING STARTED #1 (See document below) YOU WILL FEEL COMFORTABLE KNOWING WHAT TO SAY AFTER COACHING WITH YOUR UPLINE.)

See below for the web page link to your Arbonne VP Bag. Always be prepared with your packets, as you never know when the next RVP in your successline may appear. When your intention to find business builders is crystal clear, then you will find potential business builders EVERYWHERE! You will absolutely attract the right people when you have the right mindset, the mindset of Belief!
Once you have identified that the person you are talking to has an interest in hearing more about the income opportunity, leave them with a curiosity packet to look over and have them watch the Arbonne Opportunity DVD [It’s Your Time to Shine]. It's important that you ask "Mary, when do you think you will have time to look at the information?" Great, can we set up a time to get together on Tuesday? What time works best for you. Discovery and Sponsoring Interview Be sure to give your prospect an opportunity to review the a curiosity packet and watch the Arbonne Opportunity DVD [It’s Your Time to Shine] prior to your sponsoring appointment. By doing so, you can open the sponsoring interview by asking this important question. “Mary, what was it about the information that you reviewed (or the video that you watched) that motivated you to get together with me today”. This is a great opening question for a sponsoring interview. By asking this question it forces you to LISTEN, to what attracted them to Arbonne.
