Hot Potato Game for Scheduling Success by ENVP Linda Parker
Hello team... WOW -- you are amazing!! I want to reward all your hard work this month as we finish this month strong. I am emailing you all to let you know of a "hot potato" contest I'm running for those of you in my central region sometime between the 27th and the end of the month. Here's how it works... For those of you that email me back by midnight on the 26th and let me know you want to participate, you'll be put into teams of 3 people. I"ll email you all and let you know who is on your team and who the "lead 'tater" is!! The lead 'tater is the first name on the list. The first person on the list books 3 appt's (class or one on one appt. -- at least ONE of these MUST BE A CLASS) and then calls the next person on the list. When the 2nd person books their 3, then they call the 3rd person on the list. If there's still time, then you can start all over again! The challenge begins sometime between Wed and the end of the month. When the "lead tater" is notified by me you'll have approx. 48-72 hours to booxkas many classes as possible!! Here's more information: There are 2 parts to this challenge. Here's how it will work:
1) Hot Potato Challenge--- There’s a lead tater in the group—she has to book 3 parties, then she calls the next person on the team and they have to book 3 to pass it on. Need dates and number of parties. Can NOT pass onto the next person on the list unless the person calling has booked 3 classes. For example: If I am on a team of four and I’m the leader, my team is, Marlene, Linda, Elizabeth and Mary. Once I’ve booked 3 classes, I call Linda and say GO, when she books 3 she calls Elizabeth --- if Elizabeth never books her 3, she never passes to Mary! You may go through your team 1,2 or 3 times or not even one – depends on how “team” oriented your group is and if anyone 'drops' the hot potato and doesn't book their 3! The team leaders will submit the names and dates of all of the classes booked during the 48 hr. period, so the hostesses can be entered in a drawing for a FABULOUS Arbonne gift basket of products valued at over $150 (she must hold her appt in the month of Jan to be included)!
You will have a time limit (usually 48 hours). Carry your list of names and numbers with you WHEREVER you are so that make your calls and start booking! The winning team will win a gift from me!!!! (I love to give gifts!!)
Part II: As the VP, then I will draw names of 8 hostesses and they will win a gift when the class is held! (If I call and the class was rescheduled or cancelled, I will draw again.) Hint: So they'll want to keep their original date!! All those hostesses that book during this time period and only by those participating in this challenge will be eligible for these drawings. So both YOU can win and your hostesses too!! GO FOR IT! Be sure to email me by MIDNIGHT on Dec. 26th if you want to participate. I will be sending out an email telling you the teams and thier phone numbers and email, early on the 27th. You'll be hearing from me to say "go" sometime after that!!!
